As https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mc is reporting that Xenial
includes version 4.8.15-2 and Yakkety includes version 4.8.17-1. I'll
mark this as "Fix Released".
Wily will be End of Life in less than three weeks so will not see the
update.

In as far as I know, mc is now finally on autosync with Debian again, so
the reason xenial still ships 4.8.13 is that up until now it's the
version we have in unstable. I've seen Dmitry uploading 4.8.15 to
experimental, but I'm not quite sure why the transition from
