Confirmed. If totem is running and I shut the laptop lid, xserver
crashes. I don't run compiz. I'm using the experimental modesetting
intel driver with a 945 graphics card.

Not sure it is a duplicate. I still have this bug to this day. And it
does happen even without compiz actually. Clean gutsy install.
