Slightly more fiddly than you might think since that code is shared with
the server installer, and the current arrangements for picking a default
would interfere with preseeding unless handled carefully. However, in
Ubuntu 8.04, Ubiquity will warn if you pick something that's too small,
so it's not
Triaged to Confirmed. Though not a common use case on newer machines,
as more people try Ubuntu, the use case space will increase. How
difficult is it add a check for partition size before selecting an
installation partition?
