aMSN version you find in Hardy repositories has the Italian translation.
So upgrade to Hardy to get this fixed.

aMSN has a different way to handle translations and it's not possible to
handle them with Launchpad. It is better to contact the last Italian
(upstream) translator.
This is a "won't fix".
