Thank you Clive! I have tested your PPA package for telepathy-morse in
both 16.04 and in Zesty. I can confirm that the entire international
number must be entered, and that it is necessary to go off and online a
few times to get it working.
However, once the link is made, it works!

I have packaged telepathy-morse for xenial, yakkety and zesty. It is in

I would appreciate anyone who is wanting to test this feature to install
it and try it out.

I looked it up and allegedly this package has morse/telegram related files:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/wily/amd64/kde-config-telepathy-accounts/filelist
however it must rely on another library because I already have this
installed.
