I am currently using 15.04 with kernel 3.19.0-61 with no problem. I
have tried 4.30 in 15.04 with no problem. I have only tried 15.10 and
16.04 run from a usb stick but the problem is there in 15.10 with both
kernels 4.2.0-16 and 4.30 and whatever 16.04 had on release. The
problem is linked to t

I also started seeing this problem after I upgraded to 15.10. I'll be
typing and then the cursor will zip to one edge of the screen or the
other. I'm on a Dell XPS 13 (2013 model). Currently seeing the issue
with kernel 4.2.0-27

Sorry I am being slow to think. I tried installing kernel 4.30 in 15.04
in place of 3-3.19-0-31 and the bug is not present with either but it is
present in 15.10 with either 4.30 or 4.2.0-16. This suggests to me that
the problem is not in the kernel. I wonder if it is connected with
window snapp
Have installed 15-10 alongside 15.04. Problem still there with 15.10
even after installing kernel 4.30-wily. Seems to be related to scroll
