I have the same problem on a PowerPC. I upgraded to Gutsy Gibbon from
Feisty and just barely noticed that the date modified field in the file
chooser are incorrect. Once I modify a given file, it seems to report
the correct modified date.

BTW this has been happening for some time now and I've have gone through
several updates of gtk-2.0 since I noticed it. As far as I can recall
however it wasn't a problem when I initually installed Gutsy.

Hi Pedro,
I've tried many gnome applications including some that are python/gnome
apps. I also tried starting an app with sudo. Its also the same all
the variations of the file chooser such as one's with image previews and
the one that give a very limited selection until you open the "browser"
p
