Here we see another screenshot, showing both the amule-common package
and the agsync-dev package, both with the same description; that can't
be right, can it?

Here another picture, now I've expanded the amule-common package and you
see the description is wrong. Again, this has only happened to me in
Gutsy, never before in Feisty, Edgy and Dapper.

wrong description"

I have made a screenshot of the wrong description. I just saw it when I needed
to install some program with Adept Manager. The bug is NOT in the package
"pppoe" but in Adept Manager.
In the screenshot you see the package aMule, but the description field shows
the description of another package.
Just saw this bug report and I recognised the problem. I encountered this at
least three times, maybe more. Problem is that the package description does not
belong to the selected package, but to another. Sometimes there's no package
description at all.
Only happened to me in Kubuntu Gutsy 7.10.
The description of the package is correct, so this is a bug in adept, if
anything.
** Changed in: adept (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: rp-pppoe => adept
