I'm now using Fedora 29 and I have transmission-gtk 2.94 (d8e60ee44f)
and have no issues, maybe it was fixed in this version or it have
something to do with Ubuntu. Please check version 2.94.

Message says torrent is invalid, but the add torrent screen appears
anyway, and the torrent downloads fine.
