of these improvements is that it has rendered several design assumptions

Same crash in a Clevo 5600n laptop with Hardy (final) updated from 7.10.
It takes a default resolution of 1024x768 instead the 1400x1050 that the
internal monitor supports. I have 1gb ram (don't know if it matters)

I have the same crash with displayconfig-gtk 0.3.8. Hardy Alpha 5
updated to hardy-updates today (3/13). The same traceback and also with
nvidia driver.
