Hi, sorry for the long delay - I didn't dare touch hardy before it went at
least beta.
Status update: Upgrading to Hardy beta solved the problem, now the
screenlight-thing works just fine like it did in Feisty.

reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
