hi, I am the poster of this bug. It makes no sense for Dapper, since the
installing method has been completely reworked. So the has been
correctly cancelled.

Have not heard anything back from the orginial requestor since 2005. If
you are still having the problem with Kubuntu Desktop CD 6.06 LTS,
please reopen this bug.
