In this case active = sensitive. I will attach a picture showing what I

Please clarify what you mean back 'active'. There are two ways in which
that control can change: sensitive or not sensitive (greyed-out); and
ticked or not ticked.
Also, the behaviour may depend on the other settings -- can you let us
know which check-boxes are ticked?
