I then added to xorg.conf, devices section: Option "AGPMode" "1" .
I am unable to ssh to machine when it is freezed. I don't see anything
intresting in logs after freeze and reboot. Latest updates seems to change
kernel power save features and my fix does not work anymore. This machine does
not freeze with Mandriva 2009, but I think Mandriva does not use Powern

Ater you notice the freeze would you be able to ssh into the machine to
try and capture any dmesg output? I'm curious if you experience any
sort of kernel panic or oops that may be helpful to see.

Just testing Jaunty 9.04 alpha-2 with my Omnibook 6200. Problem still exists,
but I can make DRI and Powernowd work together by using p4-clockmode as advised
in bug #80459. Should this be enabled by default for Pentium-4 laptops? This
same hack works in Intrepid also.

I still have this problem with Ubuntu Intrepid Alpha 3 32 bit. Machine
hangs before entering desktop if power supply is connected.
