A simple fix would be to ship a '/usr/bin/mozilla-thunderbird' symlink
that points at /usr/bin/thunderbird.

not contain /usr/bin/mozilla-thunderbird; neither has this been fixed in
hardy; hence reopening.

On two different systems that I upgraded to Gutsy from Edgy, the panel
launchers weren't just broken, they were gone.
This caused some confusion for the users, as they were accustomed to
using the launcher rather than the menu structure and they thought their
email was "broken".
