Try running
sudo sh -c "echo 120 > /sys/block/sda/queue/max_sectors_kb"
with values 120, 64 and 32.
If this does not help, run
sudo lsusb -vvv > logfile.txt
and attach the logfile.txt here.

Hi,
I've a pendrive of kingston (Datatraveler Reader) and the usbstick
didn't mount, but the card reader can mount well.
In windows XP and Windows 2000 run very well.
