As far as I see this issue is resolved in Virtualbox 4.3.28 which is stable on
my laptop.

This is a new laptop and I installed it with the Ubuntu Vivid ISO of 6 March.
The system has always been crashing since I installed it, so as far as I know
the bug was always there. System also crashes with kernel:

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
