aha, most likely mtp-server isnt running, i'm just re-designing the
whole service handling for USB services currently because teh upstart
way we use today is a bit unreliable, that should be ready on monday in
a silo ...
can you check if mtp-server is in your processlist ?

For me yes. I get an mtp error in nautilus with the screen on. Oddly
though the icon appears in the launcher and if I click on I then get the
time out error.

connection if the screen is locked...

I just tried on latest vivid krillin and mtp works fine here through
nautilus. I can see and send files to my device through the file
manager.
