Bug still here in OTA 11 even with a complete reset of the phone.
On thing to add is that the Contacts application is not appearing in the
Settings->Accounts for the google account concerned.

Synchronizing contacts is the only reason I still use my old Nokia
phones. First of all Google doesn't sync all the data from the files
that Windows or Nokia programs spit out. Second (and that's the reason
why I join this bug report): if the synchronization with Google succeed,
my Aquaris 4.5 does

Solved.
I've noticed that deleting google account from my device, do not know
how, also removed all contacts from google. That's why when synchronize
not loading any. Luckily I had a backup of my contacts and could restore
them.

I've got the same problem in my Meizu MX4 and my BQ4.5.
I tried to desactivate 2factor and delete the Google Account Permission,
and try again, and the same.
In my phone appear 7 random contacts. My Google account have almost 100
contacts, and always see only this 7 contacts.

for it to successfully get the contacts.

I've got my Meizu MX4 today and had a different behaviour. Step 8 on my
phone was, that it said that it's sychronising, but it didn't finish
after a couple of minutes. After I've closed the contacts app and
started it again, the Google contacts appeared.
