Public bug reported: CID: 201309-14164 Compaq 15 Notebook PC
There was once a simliar bug reported: bug 1334950 But for this one, the model name for this system is Compad 15 Notebook PC, instead of HP Touchsmart 15, thus the patch in that bug does not work for this. Steps: 1. Install 14.04.1 + update 2. Boot to desktop, verify the mute LED with the audio mute key.
