The Gnome-FR Team took the decision to include the translation in gnome
language packs. "Ignorer" has been now changed for "Conserver".
The new nautilus.po file is here :

Claude Paroz : I searched a few days for a better idea but I still think
that "Conserver" would be the good choice, or at least a better choice
than ignorer. What do you think about that?

To be more accurate, I would say that the first thing I do when I read
"Ignorer" is asking myself " what will this ignore? The message? The
file? Does that mean that it will ignore the file and overwrite it, or
does that mean that it will ignore the file and continue to the next
one? When saying "C
I'm a native french person and my opinion on this is that Ignorer is
clearly confusing ( another french person than me in Québec had the same
reaction than me once, I can't tell for "all people" but it's clear for
me that the actual translation can lead to confusion).
By my opinion :
Annuler is c
I'm not sure that "Conserver" or "Annuler" or "Sauter" is clearer that
"Ignorer". Maybe we can find something better...
