I can confirm this bug that makes strigi actually unusable..
I am also attaching an strace at the time of crash for me.
The command I used to take the strace was the following just after the login.
strace -p6679 -o strace-strigidaemon.txt
(6679 was the strigidaemon PID at the time of strace)
