I am also interested in seeing GEOS 3.0 incorporated into Hardy, because
of the dependencies of several geospatial applications on this library.

Hardy still has 2.2.3, what are the plans for incorporating 3.0. As far
as I know the API is the same so there should be minimal effect of the
upgrade.
