Another localization issue I have is that the gd hunspell package
recognizes a lot less words than in Windows - I filed a bug:

don't know if this is the correct place for it.
What do the package
The English in the UI was never a result of lack of localization over at
Mozilla, gd has been fully translated and maintained since 2012.
However, I'm not seeing the problem these days on my system (also set to
gd) so perhaps the change you mentioned resolved this issue, so closing
the bug seems r

Previously firefox-locale-XX was a "recommend" in the language-pack-XX-
base packages. That recommend was dropped last year, and as regards
14.04 it happened via an update after the initial release. This ought to
