Maybe it was only the 6.6.193 driver. Anyway, the newer 6.7.193 and
6.7.194 drivers work ok.

Without xorg.conf it won't work, the monitor is not detected.
I will check what the current Gutsy driver version is and what it does
when I get to it.

Can you please try the newest driver and without any xorg.conf and
attach Xorg.0.log?
