Sorry for the long wait, I haven't gotten allot of time to test. I did however tried some things: - The bug didn't exist in Trusty, but after I was able to reproduce the bug in kernel 3.15.10 - I also tried inducing the system to crash through pausing the VM like described by Dadio, but to no su
