Ok, looking at this list makes me realize why its so crazy. I had to do the
gutsy stuff to get certain drivers to work on my new laptop.

still please attach your /etc/apt/sources.list so that I can get a idea
what repositoreis are used that caused this mmap error?

add the following line in /etc/apt/apt.conf or add a new file in
/etc/apt/apt.conf.d containing it:
APT::Cache-Limit "2000";
Which sets the cache size to 20mb.
