Also happens with me, on amd64. Trying to connect to a network will
often just crash the applet. A non-broadcasting, WPA2-secured network,
if that matters. Only way I've found to fix it is with a total reboot.

im using an intel duo core processor on gutsy 64 bit edition im not
using amd so its not specific to amd !

Same bug here on gutsy amd64 with iwl4965. seems to be amd64-specific,
or can anyone confirm this on i386? I will test it.

I can confirm this bug; nm-applet segfaults with an identical backtrace
to Dave Gilbert's. I am using Gutsy AMD64 but with a bcm43xx wireless
card.
