Hi,
I compiled the package and installed it, and then ran 1 round
trips of moving a file to my server and back with no problems, so
it looks good to go.
Sponsors, could someone ack this sync request please?
Thanks,
James

Hi,
The current version in Debian is 1.9-1, so we could sync that.
I'll try and rebuild and test that version in hardy tomorrow.
Note that I haven't experienced problems with the current version,
so if someone that does have problems could also do that
it would be much better.
Thanks,
James

If you give green lights I would attach the necessary files.
In fact it's a sync so there shouldn't be a lot problems.
Just two points:
1) I can't give it a deeper testing since I have a lack of time and a lack of
knowledge
2) I just would provide the necessary files and won't be the bug contact
For MOTU team:
I know it is very late in release cycle,
but this bug is known for half-year, and it is important - crashing, possible
loss of data.
The 1.9 upstream version includes the needed bug fixes.
Unless it will be used, all Ubuntu users for next months that try to use sshfs
will exper
Attaching ready to use .deb of amd64 version. On amd64 system, dpkg -i

I'm still testing it, but it seems to be working o.k.
Why not just upload this fixed version into official repositories?

sshfs 1.7-2.1 seems to be extremely unstable, just see mine and 10 other crash
reports...
If upgrade would fix it, then it seems really like a good idea, because
now sshfs is basically unusable

Actually Gutsy is 1.7. We are several weeks past the upstream version
freeze for Gutsy, so someone would have to prepare updated packages and
get a UVF exception approved.
