I was initially waiting for 1.0 to be released, but now I'm tempted to upload a svn snapshot to Debian and sync it in Ubuntu so if 1.0 is released we can request a sync, since it won't need to be NEWed and it will likely be accepted because of svn snapshot vs final release. I think I'll do that now
