I'm unable to reproduce it. Did you install a previous version of
firebird2.0-super and then upgraded or did you simply install it as a
new package?

Two things looks suspicious to me:
- there is no firebird2-super package in gutsy (only firebird2-super-server)
- this bug has been fixed since feisty in Ubuntu
