Yaay! i found a workaround! It seems that the mic isn't correctly
detected. What i did was:
sudo echo "options snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi" >
/etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf
and the mic started to work after a reboot. if it didn't work for you, you may
try replacing " dell-headset-
Are there any news about this bug? I'm using another distro
(elementaryOS) right now and it has the same problem too. I'd say
there's a missing driver in the kernel but i'm not an expert...

And i forgot to say that in the sound input window it appears 2 devices
(microphone and analog input) but both of them are the same integrated
microphone and still the same when i plug in a headset with mic or
whatever i do. (This thing have happened since the first day).

I asked again Acer Support Team, now they say they can't give me such
coefficients. I asked if they know somebody who could give me the
coefficients but the anwer was again no. I dont know what to do now,
there isn't any way to obtain such information.

I tried to contact with them in two ways. The first one, posting my problem in
Acer Community but it seems that they are so busy to answer. I also tried
talking with somebody from Acer using a chat they have but they just solve easy
problems like "unmute mic", reinstall driver and some basic thi
It's not really Linux support (but good luck convincing their tech
support reps of that). They just need to tell you what coefficients they
use in the Windows driver.
