For me, it is only the wireless network that doesn't come up. If I have the
wired network plugged in, it works as soon as my computer boots.
If it is not plugged in to the wired ethernet, I have to
un-check Wireless Connection (ath0) in Network Settings
re-check Wireless Connection
re-enter my WPA
I have now network connection after booting. Thank you :)

the DHCP transaction should be done.
