Workaround confirmed: console stays on tty1, and the shutdown messages

No "stopping" messages shown during sh
I found a way to bring that shutdown messages back by disabling
/etc/init/plymouth-shutdown.conf (echo "manual" >> /etc/init/plymouth-
shutdown.override)
