FWIW ephemeral notifications as they are in unity7 now only make sense
in a pointer scenario, with touch you need to be able to dismiss them
'cause there's no way to hover to reach what's behind them.
So even if we do still want ephemeral notifications, they need to not be
ephemeral to touch, othe

Ephemeral notifications are just that. Not interactive in any way and
just used to display not too import
