latest version (inkscape 1.2) and the bug is back.

I replicate in 0.48.0 Windows 11 (actually if you keep ungrouping, the
grey factory does indeed come back) and is no longer a problem in 0.92.4
Windows 11, or Inkscape 0.92.5 (0ad1ac969f, 2020-08-06) Linux Mint 20

Crash not reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk revision 13502.
Possibly fixed by the patch committed revision 13474.

Reproduced on Crunchbang Waldorf, Inkscape 0.48.3.1 and trunk revision
13437.
Also note that the trunk version crashes when doing various things with
the file (ungrouping, moving, undoing...). I'll try to investigate the
crash later.
