Hi. I manage to show all those items and many others that were not
marked as hidden but did't show in the menu following the procedure I
posted here

This is not a bug in menulibre, but an issue in the way whiskermenu is
set up. Currently, it doesn't show items from the settings category. We
added that back in 14.10, as those items from the settings-manager
aren't visible in 14.04.

Just to be clear, in 14.04 items are *either* shown in the menu *or* in the
settings manager, but never in both.
In 14.10, items will be shown in the menu *and* the settings manager.
