The device works with "gnomad2", available in universe. Posting here on
this old bug because this showed up high in the results when I searched
for this problem. Anyway, the "fix" doesn't quite live up to the title
of this bug, as that old 0% problem still persists (didn't try lucid
yet).

Great, my device gets recognized and mounted but I cannot copy files to
it!? Nautilus just hangs at 0%... Any ideas? Perhaps I could bypass
the whole mtp thing since the disk is recognised as a block device?
