Public bug reported:

I have a Canon S300 printer. I tried installing it using gnome-cups-
manager. The wizard chose configuration for S300 (a ppd file?). I tried
to print a test page, but i've got colour inks shifted and the whole
printout was covering half of a page. Choosing configuration for S800
solved that, the printout looks correctly. I suggest copying proper
files from configuration for S800 to S300. (I found that suggestion at
http://www.openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Canon-S300).

Configuration for Canon S300 is wrong, choosing S800 works well.
