Hi Seth,
I have tried that and this is what I got:
"Not enough random bytes available. Please do some other work to give
the OS a chance to collect more entropy! (Need 228 more bytes)"
I got this a number of times with different number of bytes still needed.
Not sure what is the point of displ
As a workaround, you can probably use gpg --gen-key to generate a key.
If there is an error, it may be more informative than seahorse's
wrapper.
