Yesterday we found a way to reproduce this:
* Make sure you have 12 rows of "My apps"
* Scroll to the bottom of the apps scope
* Start an app
* Go back from the app to the dash
* You'll see the apps scope is at the top and the "My apps" content is empty

I've hit this multiple times and I've also had it only displaying a
single line as can be confirmed by everyone in the landing call this
morning

No, I was just playing with the device over the weekend when this
happened. I'd been playing with swiping up and down in the shell a lot,
and a lot of swiping right and left. I also had a unity crash when
running x-type (which doesn't crash now) just before the problem in this
bug report.
