Ah, gotcha. I can't reproduce the compiz crash bug, but the lid switch
is still causing events to occur. What happens now is that when I close

Ubuntu desktop 13.10. "HandleLidSwitch=ignore" is supposed to work in
both Lubuntu and Ubuntu AFAIK.
I can't use apport-bug as I do not know what sort of sensitive
information is collected by that tool. I would rather report data
manually for the sake of security.
