Oh, I see your point. You wish that the ".kdb" extension is associated
with KeePassX [u]on installation[u].
I can confirm your submission and I also suggest that the status is set

Yes, you are right about the .kdb extension.
About your suggestion. That is exactly what I did when I found the
problem originally. The reason I opened the bug was because I had to
follow the steps you just described, it didn't just work right the first
time (when other applications seem to).

I presume that ".kbd" is a typo? It should be ".kdb" (KeePass DataBase)
If you wish GNOME opens ".kdb" files with KeePassX follow the next steps:
1. Right click on the .kdb file
2. Chose "Open with other Application..." (A screen titled "Open with" should
open now)
3. Click on "Use a custom comma
