G_DEBUG=fatal_criticals rhythmbox gives no log whatsoever, player start
fine. I don't know if i executed the gst-launch-0.10 playbin u... thing
correctly but i still attached the log. This test file plays well in
Totem & VLC. You can get rhythmbox play m4a files fine if you turn "use
crossfading ba

i have this exact same bug, m4a files are stuttering when trying to
play. Rhythmbox 0.11.2 Linux ubuntu 2.6.22-12-generic #1 SMP Sun Sep 23
18:11:30 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux. I also have had couple of crashes

It's easy. Simply run rhythmbox, type in search box 'sappy' then start
playingg bugy file, if it not stutters, start playing something else and
then buggy file(you can don't wait till the end of normal file), bug will
appear 100%.
