I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Shutter 0.91 Rev.1264:
Shutter crashes on "edit" for me with Numix-Circle, Numix-Bevel and
Numix icon themes as well as with HighContrast (coming with Ubuntu). All
the other icon themes on my machine do not prompt Shutter to crash on
"edit".

I have debugged the code and could isolate the following 'standard' gtk2
call:
my $icontheme = Gtk2::IconTheme->get_default;
my @contexts = sort $icontheme->list_contexts;
Only chance I currently see is to remove the feature (import icons from
the current icon theme - I have never used that for e
I've added Numix devs into this conversation. We're still getting
reports of this being a problem. If the shutter devs want to contact us
so we can resolve this problem as soon as possible that would be great.

Same here, running Ubuntu 14.04 with Numix Circle icon theme running. If
I change back to Ubuntu-mono-dark it's fine.
Here's what I get when I try to launch it:

This is happening to me too. Xubuntu 14.04.
If I use Faenza iconset, or the default iconset that comes with Xubuntu, it
works fine.
But if I use some others, for example, Numix Circle, the Shutter Builti-in
Editor crashes.
