ps3-utils is already seeded and is shipped on the cd. However, I suppose
we could add it to the desktop seeds for the PPC arch although I have no
idea what ps3-utils does exactly so we'd have to look at what sort of
consequences having it installed by default would have.

I'd like to fix this for intrepid if possible, do we simply need to add
ps3-utils to the seed? (since its a PowerPC specific package, it
shouldn't affect i386/amd64 CDs).

When there was a seperate Cell arch target for Xubuntu it was possible
to install it post-install, I have not tested yet with the latest Hardy
beta (the kernel driver problems with recent versions of the PS3's
hypervisor have caused issues with my testbed). It would be preferable
to have it install
Are you able to install it afterwards? It is already included on the
live cd. Or do you require it to be pre-installed?

In Hardy it is I believe. Only issue here I would presume is that the
PS3 basically requires ps3-utils for proper operation, but it doesn't
make sense to install it by default on all PowerPC machines. Preferably
the installer would install it if it detected the hardware.

ps3-utils to the PowerPC build.
