OK, thanks, so I did that... but I have got tons of errors when booting
the new kernel. probably my gusty is just too old.
so I definitely need to burn that livecd.. I'll wait for the release
tomorrow and let you know.

I'll try to test that new kernel, OK.
However I cannot access it with my default apt settings : the most recent
kernel I "see" is 2.6.22.
My laptop runs currently gutsy...
I could still download the liveCD to get it, but is there a simpler way ? (such
as just hacking the apt/sources.list fil
The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
