This new diff has some parts the Debian maintainer isn't happy about.
Specifically, the use of -Qb isn't needed any longer, because
MODPROBE_OPTIONS is being set.
He also says that 0.89 isn't a good version to work from: ... the
first sys walk MODULES=dep didn't account fancy root bootargs
