I can confirm this bug. Im using an Asus M2400N 1,5 GHz Centrino. I've
tested a few actual distributions with kernel 2.6.20 or 2.6.22 and they
all have this bug ;-(
IMHO the cpu fan doesn't work when booting with the --nolapic
workaround. Can anyone confirm this?

nolapic option.

I can confirm what Michael wrote. I am using an M2400N 1.6 GHz Centrino
and all previous versions have been working fine. I really hope this bug
will be resolved.
