still happening with 20070715
if i iinstall feisty and upgrade to gutsy then i get the same error when
it tries to boot. booting the 'old' kernel 2.6.20-16 works ok.

Bugs, which is the bug contact for
the kernel bugs page asks for uname -a and /proc/version_signature, but
as i cannot generate these i on the nonbooting live cd, i can't see that
they would be useful. tell me if i am wrong
